Our Gallery's home, the "old Selmah Schoolhouse", is close to 190 years old and originally served the community as a two room school house.

The School operated for 96 years and it was reported to the Superintendent of Schools that "in terms of structure and style, the Selmah School was one of the most outstanding rural schools in Nova Scotia".
