The Maitland Heritage District and Gallery 215 were well represented at the recent Tourism Symposium in Milford on February 12th, presented by the Municipality of East Hants.

Industry organizations networked with local stakeholder groups & businesses to 'brand-storm', coming up with new ideas to promote the area.

Representatives Susan Marlin and Nettah Burry with Symposium organizer JD MacCulloch from the East Hants Office of Economic and Rural Development.

Gallery 215 offers paintings by many Nova Scotia artists, but also wood work, hooked rugs & quilts, glass products, jewelry, sculpture & much more...

Season Opening & Dessert Tea - Sunday June 14, 2009

This year the Gallery is packed with a wide range of work from more than 65 Nova Scotian artists & crafters! The retail section on the old Stage looks out over additional art in the back Gallery, just up the hall hung with even more work...
A dozen members of the British Automobile Touring Association of NS included tea at the Selma Gallery on their tour of the area... A flash from the past visits a 100 Year Old Heritage Building, providing a nice photo opportunity for passing tourists...
